Here are some examples of gigs we run:

Grove Theatre, Dunstable - 3rd November 2008
A charity gig for the Well-being Festival (a festival set up to raise awareness for mental health issues). The gig was at a 780 seater theatre in Dunstable.
The press release from the night is available here.

We've had numerous positive responses from this work:
"Kumquat were a great collaboration for us, they were able to understand our concept and provided a line-up that fit the bill perfectly."

"Kumquat will definitely be our first stop for next years event, they listened to what we were trying to do and pulled out all the stops to make the event work."
Daisy Bogg
Director of Social Care (Acting)
Bedfordshire & Luton Partnership NHS Trust

"Kumquat Comedy came recommended - and it was easy to see why.

They put together a fantastic line-up. Dave Ward, Stan Stanley, James Dowdeswell and Steve Day were all very different in their style and delivery, but that was the most impressive aspect of the show, as they all complemented each other perfectly.

It didn't matter how many questions were asked and how obvious the answers - from booking the comics, to support on the evening, Kumquat were easy to work with.

Our audience are already asking when our next show is - we'll definitely be working with Kumquat in the future."

Atherstone Cricket Club - 14th November 2008
The second night at Atherstone Cricket Club. Comedians booked for this night are: Karen Bayley to MC, Kate Smurthwaite opening, Owen Niblock (back by popular demand) and Jonathon Elston in the middle and Gareth Berliner headlining. There'll be food and competitions again and lot of fun so come along and check it out.

Dead Funny & Bleeding Heart Liberal - 31st October & 1st November 2008
We're pleased to announce that we've secured a partnership with Whitby Goth Weekend to provide comedy for the festival. Details of the impressive line-up are available here.

Atherstone Cricket Club (SOLD OUT)
A weekend gig with a reasonably high budget. The performers for the evening were: Noel James, Pat Gallagher, Anna Keirle & Owen Niblock. The organisers put on some food and had various fund-raising competitions going on around the comedy night. It was so successful they've decided to turn it into a regular event - the next one being in November.

Aberystwyth Arts Centre (SOLD OUT)
A one off gig in Aberystwyth Arts Centre which was sold out. We booked Dan Mitchell to MC, James Sherwood to open, Owen Niblock and Gig-A-Tron for the middle section and Andrew O'Neill to close the show. The show was a great success.

The White Lion, Machynlleth
We've run several gigs at this venue including a night headlined by Wil Hodgson (2004 Perrier Newcomer Award Winner) and Edinburgh Preview shows of Niblock vs. Gig-A-Tron in 2007 and Twisted Whimsy in 2008.

Alrewas Village Hall (SOLD OUT)
Another one-off gig, this one was sold out (200 people) in Alrewas in Derbyshire. Pat Gallagher was MC (he was later booked to MC a massive gig in Bahrain when the promoter saw him at this gig and has since support McFly!) Sean Moran put in a wonderful performance and Nicko & Joe headlined (and got an enchore). Nicko and Joe are currently enjoying cult success with their show Nicko & Joe's Bad Film Club.

Union Blue, Derby
A lovely pub gig in the heart of the student housing area of Derby which ran once a month and attracted audiences of between 60 and 70 people. As it was a tiny room, this made it feel more intimate. The headliner at every show got an enchore which proves you can also have a good gig in a small room. Acts booked for this gig included: Russell Howard, Duncan Oakley, Nick Page and Josie Long.
